How would one know whether AZ was made in Europe or Australia?

Apparently the UK vaccination record tells you a batch and you can tell form that whether it was manufactured in the UK, EU or India. On the Last Leg last night they were teasing Josh because his AZ was from India so he cant travel.

The AZ thing will get resolved with some lobbying from AZ and the UK government, but it sets a precedent that they are unlikely to give travel privilege's to thos vaccinated with vaccines they don't authorize so Sputnik or SinoVac probably wont earn you a vaccine passport to the EU.

I thought that but then read the decision has been deferred to next Monday. How would one know whether AZ was made in Europe or Australia? I know my first one was made in Europe as it was done before Australia came online but there is nothing that distinguishes it from the second in my health certificate.

If the batch number has a Z in the middle of it, then it's come from India.

I was given the batch number of the first shot and knew it came from overseas because it was early days. I wasn't given the batch number of the second one though so presumed it was local but could be wrong. Neither batch numbers appear in the digital certificate.

So despite WA claiming their economy has done the best during Covid it appears to not be the case:

Whilst I completely understand their desire to compete many of them are going to pay a very high price for it.

I can't imagine their planning if a person in a team falls positive. So the whole team gets isolated? And have to stay in isolation for 14 days possibly longer. That means people in the village staying much longer than the planned time for their event to take place then exit. And they are staying in hotel style accommodation - the type that has been shut down in Victoria and I can't imagine the rooms are properly pandemic ventilated. I wonder who takes control? Japan Health or Olympics health if it starts to go bad get worse.
