Could be 6-7 cans/bottles on some days, sometimes more. I'm not sure why I'm drinking so much. I don't like drinking water at the casino/club and prefer something fizzy. Subconsciously it could be a craving for caffeine. How much do you consider is too much.. Probably depends on the type of day you are having. Are you imbibing said beverages to combat hangover or jetlag or lack of sleep

Why not? I used to drink 6 buddies of Coke a day back in the 80's-90's. Now I'm drinking stuff without the calories.Seriously?
Thanks. Anxiety for me is normal but the headaches have come back again. But John your consumption may be adding to the anxiety, headaches etc you complain about.I would also check the contents of OTC pain relievers you get-some to contain caffeine.
It wasn't for nothing that the C in APC powders was caffeine.can get you addicted.

So what would you tell your patients who acknowledged they drank a minimum of 6 cans of coke a day? And who presented with multiple health issues including pre diabetes. There are also studies that show the very opposite effects of artificial sweeteners when fed to mice-ie decreased glucose and insulin levels and attenuation of weght gain-
Antihyperglycaemic effect of saccharin in diabetic ob/ob mice. - PubMed - NCBI
So the jury is out.
There has also been a study showing plain carbonated water in rats can cause weight gain, increased ghrelin levels and increased hepatic fat.

It also showed that in a small study of humans that men had increased ghrelin levels when drinking carbonated water compared to non gaseous water.Ghrelin increases hunger.
So next time the QF FA comes around and offers still or sparkling water fellas-take the still.
But I just bought a SodaStream! There are also studies that show the very opposite effects of artificial sweeteners when fed to mice-ie decreased glucose and insulin levels and attenuation of weght gain-

your publications are 1997, mine is 2010 and Puska 2015. aren’t the later publications more likely to indicate updated research findings? I will agree with these sort of things you can usually find some research to match your point of viewThere are also studies that show the very opposite effects of artificial sweeteners when fed to mice-ie decreased glucose and insulin levels and attenuation of weght gain-

I have type 2 diabetes. Have had it for a long time. This has also resulted in depression, anxiety (both forms), IBS and probably many other conditions. In short, glucose intolerance. Didn’t you mention you were pre diabetic? Yowsers. All those cigarettes too. Good you gave up but maybe there are residual effects.
Funnily most of them don't drink 6 cans of coke a day or even 6 cans diet coke a day.So what would you tell your patients who acknowledged they drank a minimum of 6 cans of coke a day? And who presented with multiple health issues including pre diabetes.
But neither of those reports prove a direct link with NAS and weight gain.your publications are 1997, mine is 2010 and Puska 2015. aren’t the later publications more likely to indicate updated research findings? My friend has a carcinoma on his foot, the doctors wanted at first to cut it out and do a big skin graft, a week later they changed it to radiotherapy (due to its size) where he had to attend for treatment 5 days a week for 6 weeks. He did some research and found a possible solution (so cancelled the radiotherapy) by using baking soda, coconut oil mixed into a paste placed onto the legion and covered with gauss with white vinegar placed on the wound once per day.
I saw him last about 3 weeks ago and again yesterday, he told me about the above and then showed me his foot, I was totally astounded to see the carcinoma had reduced in size by I guess 90% and now hardly noticeable but also the inflammation around it had near disappeared, now normally I'd say non professional medical treatment is like snake oil but to see his results was really amazing. He advised me he has to continue on for another 3 weeks and hopes by then it has totally disappeared, only time will tell.
