Made it to HKG.... feeling exhausted though so will likely just sleep through BA F HKG-LHR.

There were no sick bags in any of the F toilets... they had to scour the plane and found nothing, so found some waste bags. They're not great, let's just say they develop holes easy.... thank goodness I had on the BA F PJs...

So, BYOSB. Hope you have a good sleep. Maybe ask for some plastic bags. :)

I think I slept maybe 10 hours or so... feeling a bit better on the ground now but about to do our quick turn to AMS and back.

I did order some food on the flight though for my TR at least, so photos to follow!
And when you get home you. (both) need to go to the doctor, even if you think you are feeling better.

Much better than me. I've just woken up with a raging fever. I am not at all feeling well. It's been a week now.... every time I *burp* I can still taste those rehydration salts yet it's been days since I last had them! Yuck, yuck, yuck.
Somewhat like the lingering of carrots a long time after consumption....

You sound like you’ve picked up something significant and needs sorting out pronto. Don’t suppose you have a rash? Measles?

With due deference to those not feeling the best ... but after my recent, and over a year, coughulative & significant weight loss, I decided to extract a dividend. Went to GP and suggested that I could ditch a couple of my pills. He didn't give way quite that easily; one I can go off immediately, then blood tests in 2 months and see the result and then look to take the other out. Happy with that. The other couple I'm on are 'preventative' so I'm sorta stuck with them, but I can see what they are preventing so that's OK.

Also saw my cardiologist recently after a little hiccough in that area and have got a green light for my Stans travel later in the year (some very remote travelling) - and a plan for it if something does occur (not talking heart attack stuff though).

So I celebrated with a big pizza, chips & a coke (not ... :) I actually had a glorious shashimi, with salmon, octopus and scallop - the latter was just sublime.) I honestly couldn't eat one of @drron 's scallop pies any more :(

Question for Rooflyer, can you go back to drinking wine or is that still off the menu.

My arm is slowly getting better nearly 8 weeks.

Still cannot straighten it but the wrist is about 90% getter although for some reason my fingers still feel funny although I think getting them caught in the post box hasn’t helped recovery.

Yes, I'm happy to have a drink with friends when the occasion demands :) I'm making 3 trips to the Barossa this year, and that definitely qualifies!

Hope that arm gets ship shape soon!

Ultrasound guided cortisone into the shoulder today. Bad case of bursitis that has had me in constant pain for at least a month -here is hoping it brings relief. A little unpleasant this evening though.

Then get thee to a medico. :(

Just finished 12 hours in the office, felt OK most of it so maybe on the up. I did wake up with a raging fever though!

No rash that I can see.

Wow, all this talk about work is making me feel exhausted, I'd better go on another holiday. Thankfully Scotland beckons tomorrow so it's a long, long weekend :)
