Angioplasty this morning and IVUS indicated SF at artery bifurcation. That is a stent within a stent it was already there to support, one was kinked the other fractured. A TSS inserted and inflated. Stent within a stent within a stent. Might be a record. IVUS shows good placement.Sorry that you’re going through this. I missed the original post detailing the early parts of your presentation. This is a rare outcome but it is for this reason that I always tell my patients they need the symptom burden or the non-invasive testing to “earn” an Invasive angiogram. It’s too easy to assume something needs stenting based purely on the diagnostic Angio imaging. Functional or adjunctive data is a must. Either non-invasively or invasively at the time of the diagnostic study.
