Bit of an uptick since Feb.
I had mine done at the Chemist. Just went for the basic as didn't want to wait for the oldie one.It is good that they have stabalised this week.
Big brouhaha on the news last night about the need to get flu shots…problem is that our GP has not received their allowance.
Typical Qld Government, a triumph of hype over reality
The weather in SA anyway has packed it in very early. Disgusting. Coldest Easter I can remember. Bring on flu....Bit of an uptick since Feb.

(Tas) I had the flu quad over 3 weeks ago at my GP - freebie for this 'oldie'. Not booked, just offered at the end of a regular appointment.
I glad I didn't go for the stronger one. I was surprisingly unwell with this one, I've never reacted to them before. Feverish. Fatigue etc. but then I've never been on steroi_s before either. Latest Covid Vax two weeks prior was fine.(Tas) I had the flu quad over 3 weeks ago at my GP - freebie for this 'oldie'. Not booked, just offered at the end of a regular appointment.
Same here. No adverse issues
I’ve never had a reaction to the flu shot until this year. Bad headache the day after and a bicep that felt like I’d torn every tendon. My GP said he felt bad the day after his and my sister had a vertigo attack the day after hers. I think there’s something about this years shot.I glad I didn't go for the stronger one. Interesting. MrP usually gets a reaction, this time he didn't. I sure as heck did. To the extent I'm not sure I'd have it again. I've never had flu! But simple colds lay me flat. Long flu?.long
Progressive coughnic in your food. classic case!So I am 17 days into this "flu" and i am wondering if it really is. Have spent alot of time on the lounge and confined myself to barracks. I do not have runny nose, but when lying in bed my breathing is a bit laboured and is "noisy". Could this be covid? What has made me question it is I had a scotch tonight and accused MrsProzac of putting too much poison in it that I could notice it. The after taste is horrible, real outer sides of the tongue taste. Please don't tell me I can never drink scotch again! Thoughts, is this covid?
How do I find out after so long?
Any other explanation...I can't drink it, the aftertaste is horrid.Progressive coughnic in your food. classic case!
Have another single malt, or two, to test the theory!
Who does that, GP?Long flu?.
Need to do a influenza swab - like a covid nose swab
.
Ah 17days... tests are most accurate in first 3-5 days. After that probably not.long after initial symptoms
