It is good that they have stabalised this week.

Typical Qld Government, a triumph of hype over reality

Bit of an uptick since Feb.
The weather in SA anyway has packed it in very early. Disgusting. Coldest Easter I can remember. Bring on flu....

(Tas) I had the flu quad over 3 weeks ago at my GP - freebie for this 'oldie'. Not booked, just offered at the end of a regular appointment.

I glad I didn't go for the stronger one. I was surprisingly unwell with this one, I've never reacted to them before. Feverish. Fatigue etc. but then I've never been on steroi_s before either. Latest Covid Vax two weeks prior was fine.

Same here. No adverse issues

I had my fist Shingrix injection at the same time, and got a strong reaction to that - sore red patch just beneath the injection point, warm for about 4 days, fading over the following 5 and a bit itchy towards the end.

Told the GP who was very interested in that. Said it def wouldn't have been the flu one.

I’ve never had a reaction to the flu shot until this year. Bad headache the day after and a bicep that felt like I’d torn every tendon. My GP said he felt bad the day after his and my sister had a vertigo attack the day after hers. I think there’s something about this years shot.

Interesting. MrP usually gets a reaction, this time he didn't. I sure as heck did. To the extent I'm not sure I'd have it again. I've never had flu! But simple colds lay me flat. Go figure, as they say.

So I am 17 days into this "flu" and i am wondering if it really is. Have spent alot of time on the lounge and confined myself to barracks. I do not have runny nose, but when lying in bed my breathing is a bit laboured and is "noisy". Could this be covid? What has made me question it is I had a scotch tonight and accused MrsProzac of putting too much poison in it that I could notice it. The after taste is horrible, real outer sides of the tongue taste. Please don't tell me I can never drink scotch again! Thoughts, is this covid?
How do I find out after so long?
