If only I could somehow prepaid my electricity bill with Energy Australia!

Log in to your internet account on their web site, select the address, select your account, and there is a pay bill button, which allows you to pay whatever amount you like. Note there is credit card surcharge for manual payments despite this is waived for direct debit from credit cards. 0.36% for Visa Mastercard 1.5% AmEx.

I tried that and it said no amount payable as it wasn't due - They don't want my money!

Then I had a thought that I could use PostBill Pay to do it - and it seemed to go through ok.

Just to clarify on T&C's - It is limited to 10 cards per transaction not 10 cards across the life of the promotion? I.E I can buy 25+ cards?

Not sure about Energy Australia but have just managed to pay AGL $100 at a time with CGMC via PayPal with no surcharge.
(last bill I paid with EFTPOS cards at Post Office but have now found out they charged 50c a transaction)

The promo does say you can get as many as you like, although limited to 10 cards per transaction. However, this is stupid, because the Coles cash registers are only able to handle 5 gift cards (including SIM packs) per transaction, ever! Anymore and it simply won't scan and tell you to bugger off.

Thank's for the confirmation - and no surprises there!

Perhaps I'll just do 5 cards on the way to work and 5 cards on the way back :)

You can just use self check out service, and hoard the cash register, to do separate transactions.

Sure can but I don't like to rouse suspicion. My local coles is only very small and same staff for many years.

I got questioned the other day when I split my yoghurt, milk and bread up into 3 transaction. Clearly the old girl behind the desk didn't know about local champion! :)

Why though? Is it just for the extra MR points, cause AGL take Amex via PayPal last I checked.

I hope my local Coles will still have them on the weekend when I get back from overseas. Since the 88$ woolworths ards were virtually unsold except for me

Not sure how you guys can buy so many at a time.

I went to a coles which had a lot, but the customer service staff saw me and immediately said no only 5. Then brought store manager down, she was again saying only limit of 5, it is storey policy. I asked to see these so called store policy she said she can not as they are only for team members only. (WTF?)

I cited the flybuys promo t&c and she said Coles and Fly Buys are different.

Then takes me over to the Australian government print out which says beaware of scams for ATO etc LOL saying it's from the government. I just rolled eyes.

What a bunch of over zealous baby booming workers! Unfriendly and do not want people to have bargains, she said well u are operating as a business... im like wtf...

Randwick NSW store now has this policy as well. I bought 75 last week without any problem. Called a couple of day later to check stock levels and was told only 5 per person now - store policy.

idiot policy. terms and conditions stated 10 cards, and can be redeem multiple times.

Typical jealous coles staff!

Could it be that people are complaining that they weren't able to get any?
