Please don't worry,its a know issue and we have sited it recently and our technical team is working on it and will be resolved soon. I've also raised an case for you and the max time for resolution is 5 working days

interesting.
however still need to see if its only for the woolies in-store or if it applies to the everydaygiftcards too.
could be that the "glitch" happened because they were trying to turnoff the egiftcards - but ended up turning off all woolies products instead?

except this glitch is also affecting Coles Express. and I suspect others, but can't confirm yet.
 
Made some purchases at WOW this weekend. Points haven’t yet posted.

Last EGC purchase was 21/8 where I got 3ppd.

I used them to buy Visa1 cards for paying ‘everyday’ bills with at self checkout yesterday. Sounds like the change hadn’t been rolled out to my local WOW yet.

Glad I checked this thread. Will refrain from buying any more until the dust settles then use Explorer for good (tho reduced) earn if it’s not broken.

Will report back when my weekend in store purchases post.

I've got the Platinum Edge and a Gold card that used to be the fee free BMW card. I can't really justify the $395 annual fee for the Explorer. We don't do much travel, so the $400 travel credit wouldnt really help. Are people still able to get the Explorer linked to Ascent?
 
Just checked mine and the glitch isn't just at Woolworths, purchase made at IGA on 25th only received 1ppd.
 
Hi, new member here.

I bought $600 worth of JB HI-FI Gift Cards at Coles on the weekend and my Platinum Edge only got credited 1 pt per $...

I asked live chat and they gave me a case number and said they will get back to me. The person on the live chat said it should be 3 pt per $ though.
 
Everyday gift card transaction on 26/8 has posted at 3pp again. Maybe the issue has been fixed.

i used live chat - mine had to go off for a case review.

they said technical team was working on it. you think there is precedent of automatically adjusting everything Amex's end?
 
per ozbargain - people over there seem to think 3x points for egiftcards are over - ie a change of coding

mine went off for review as well.

I used Live Chat and was told it would take 24-48 hours for the correction to appear.

Mine was adjusted instantly - luck of the draw I guess
