Have been on the hunt for prepaid visa/mastercards, apparently the Flightcentre $250.00 ones are not sold anymore. Do anyone know any alternatives? Want to get a couple dozen for ATO :), platinum Edge EDR/FlyBuys combo.

Virtual V card from 7/11?

I haven't been able to find any WF cards in any supermarkets for months now. Since the last promo spend $100 get $10 free.

Brilliant mate! ATO here I come, with local champion of course.

Edit spoke to a dude there and he is happy to charge $800.00 with pin at the cost of $5.50 load fee.

VCards will no longer be sold in stores or online, however existing cards will still be available for use until the expiry date. VCards expire 9 months after activation

That what I found after shanye's slightly more coded pointer a couple of weeks back. Didn't pursue it further but did wonder if I might have missed something

Went to a physical 7/11, they sell ANZ prepaid Visa and can charge up to $1000.00 per card at the cost of $5.95. Mind you this is double points with Platinum Edge, good way to turn non-amex purchases into Amex points.

wow , I will go check my local 7/11

I got David Jones Amex

  • Earn 3 Reward Points per dollar spent at major supermarkets and petrol stations

Great find. I wonder how many you can buy in one visit towards a larger modest payment to Canberra without putting it at risk of shutdown?

Reduces effective Amex fee from 1.45% to 1.015% or 0.51c per point at 2 ppd on my calculation.

okay , just came back from 711. my local store do not have the anz prepaid visa.

the offered me Vpay https://www.vpay.com.au/ ( this is not a physical credit card )
1. you can buy upto $500 value
2. cost to purchase $5.50
3. not reloadble.

I bought $50 value to test it out.
1. to pay ebay fee , and it works.
2. paying telstra bill , by using paypal checkout ( at telstra website ) and it works.

and the transactions history came out straight away :

this card has $1=3MR it takes 2MR = 1KF

and my CPA Amex:
1 Membership Rewards point is equal to 1 KrisFlyer Mile
this card has no bonus point , its a flat 1MR = 1KF
