5 packs of Fererros to cabin crew PER-MEL, and MEL-SYD on Boxing Day (with the request that they don't forget the lads up front)
PER crew were effusive - both pilot, and later co-pilot, came back and thanked me for thinking of them. I was a bit embarrased... well maybe for half a second.
Never had that response before. Suspect the long over-water leg, early start, and festive season all contributed to the bonhomie.
MEL crew also very surprised and pleased to be thought of. YMMV, but for me, it is lovely to make people feel appreciated.

I have been deeply moved by the reports coming out of the cabin crew of the Azerbaijan Airlines continuing to calm the passengers as the doomed flight tried to make a safe landing. It's always in the back of my mind that if our lives are ever on the line, it's these people who will be there to help save us if they can. That's a big reason why I will always try and give them a small gift - an unspoken acknowledgement of the responsibility they take on.
