So drinks tonight features a Wild Hibiscus gin from Ginglebellgin with butterfly pea flower, elderflower and finger lime honey. Plus some home grown finger lime.

Tonight’s G&T features a new drop. Lacey Hill lemon myrtle dry gin. Very nice with a little home grown lemon juice.

I have added a little extra this year to my Lacey’s Hill G&T. Some elderflower cordial plus home grown finger lime.

Been a huge fan of Gin for the past 3-4 years, mainly local SA distilleries (23rd Street, Never Never Never) but I must say my favourite ones are by Four Pillars (Bloody Shiraz Gin & Olive Leaf Gin).

Their Olive Leaf Gin is exceptional with just a slice of lemon.

So we visited Sunshine and sons today. Close to the Big Pineapple. So my purchases which come in a nice bag.



The red gin is a special release for Valentines Day. They were slicing up the red dragon fruit whilst we were there.
Also a nice selection of rum.

Well a new favourite gin and I am taking credit. A couple of weeks before we went away I put a whole lot of finger lime in the bottle of gin I had just opened.
Had to do something with them as we had a crop of nearly 1000 fingerlimes after about 50 the previous year. Put the bottle in the fridge.
Tonight was time to try it in a G&T. Fantastic.



The fingerlime has certainly infused into the gin and I really like the change in taste.
