Does not seem all that enticing to me so now there are ONLY 6,999,999* members to share the spoils.

So you closed your VFF account due to this promotion?

If so, well done. That will show them.

I'm thinking Buzz didn't enter (I did FWIW) :D

PS: For our 4 family accounts I used an email address that I maintain for such spam likely promos/competitions and the like...

that conditions was noted on social media, one reply mentioned that the wording was exactly the same as the condition for signing up to velocity. I haven't checked. But if true then the spam warning would apply to anyone with a velocity account.

I'm looking forward to getting 4x anyone else thanks to family pooling.

I've only signed up my account, not worth sweeping 10 to 50 points from an otherwise inactive account for Mrs QF WP (as we do Family Pooling of everything to me).

Not concerned if it's ROKT - they've had plenty of opportunities to spam me (primarily through PinchMe) and it's never happened, except the one time I accidentally clicked to be contacted (which technically isn't spam and the third party never called again).

I don't know about y'all but my email providers spam protection is so effective I often have to go in and pull real emails out.

If a company is emailing you just flag them as spam and that's that. I dunno maybe I've just had a good 10 year run with this email account.....

Oh yeah and now we wait 'til we laugh.... I'm betting 6 points each. Anyone else want to make a bet??!!

I bet around 100 points. They'd be thrilled to get 100k people to sign up for this promo, and I bet it'll be less than that. Not everyone watches points as closely as those on forums like this. Many people don't care about their accounts, and the vast majority of Velocity members probably don't even remember they signed up (do it once and forget it).

If they do get a ton of people I bet they'll throw 100 points at people anyway just to make it seem significant.

It would be hilarious if everyone had registered and we all get 1 point each!

So what happened? How many points did everyone get and when are they allocated?

From a reply to someone asking the same question on VFF's Facebook page today: "the results will be published by April 9th, 2017 and the Points will be in the successful participants accounts on the same day"

I am so excited that I can hardly wait.

My thoughts exactly.

I'll probably think the amount of my VFF account increasing will be fuel or something minor :o

I have a feeling that April 1st would have been more fitting

Folks, you are welcome to my share of the points. They didn't notify me so they can keep them. That will show them... or not.
