Kids under 18 were excluded.

There was only an age limit for a short amount of time anyone could enter got points from a under 18 year old..

I should have signed up my whole family pool as I would have got 800 not 600

That doesn't speak well for how many engaged/active members of the program there are. Especially if you consider many members probably registered multiple family members. Those 35,000 members represent half a percent of all their accounts – 0.005% – and as previously mentioned, probably a little less than that considering multiple registrations.

I would love to see how the numbers compared with a similar QF promotion, but I doubt they'll be so foolish to expose themselves.

It was the equivalent to 0.5% of members (as you stated in words), not 0.005% of members.

As the number of points credited was very even (200), all that can be said for certain is at least 35,000 members registered. By paying a very even number, no one outside VFF will know what the actual response was.

I would assume somewhere between 1 in 250 (0.4%) and 1 in 150 (0.66%)

Hadn't realised or I would have tripled my 400 points:mad:

Thank you for participating in our 7 million Velocity Points giveaway. We had an incredible response with 35,574 members entering, which would have meant everyone would have received 196.7 Velocity Points each. However, after we sliced and diced, we decided to round up and have given 200 Velocity Points to everyone, which should already be in your account.
