Hmmm, we're at 9,084,972 steps; so I can't see us getting to 10M in the next 2 days, with only 33 entries left.

With serfty and straitman entering their missing steps, their team step average went up 90.

Yep, only two days to go.

Had a big day of Golf yesterday - got some steps in.

Team One Alliance is up to 9,775,463 steps with 21 missing entries.

With the 14 team entries to go a daily average of 6½K per day would crack the 10,000,000 steps.

Only just realised that there is only 2 days to go, there is no way I am going to even get to 1,000,000 steps. Yesterdays rain didn't help and I have an even bigger problem today. :(

O go on, Bundy Bear. Give it a crack :D

My goal was 1M, then when I passed that figure, the goal increased to 1.5M

Looks like I'll fall short, as I'm on 1,303,771 (and there's no way I'll do 100K per day:shock:)

Okay, I'll take on the challenge to carry you on my shoulders for the last couple of days. Off for a walk around the block then :D

So did you play army golf or just plain hacking it around? ;)

And no I am not trying to be funny and hope Bundy Bear gets well soon....

Today is the final day of the GCC

...so make it count, everyone!

After today, you'll have a few more days to catch up on any step entries you've missed, after which the competition will cease and you won't have to record steps any more.

If you're still interested in keeping records of your daily steps, consider starting an account on 10000steps.org.au

The last day; glad when it will be over, and I will have had enough of counting steps and so the idea of recording them somewhere else has no appeal.

Current 976,436 steps; so only need 23,564 today, not impossible, but still tough.

And to think my biggest 3 totals were in New York and DC. maybe I should have gone on holidays more. work definitely slows the averages down.

Yep, I've been racking up some good totals since I've been traveling :!:

Well I racked up 21K for the last day to help my team along.

Helped being out seeing clients and then having wife and her friends over for a scrapbooking night where I play Jeeves, so they had me running around last night.

I'm also going to pass on continuing to count my steps.

I'm up for next year, as I have my big Europe trip, so that should see good daily figures.

Given my day is almost over and I'm now in bed, I've entered mine ; turned out to be a new PB of 24.5k.

Well with the GCC now over I've just put in my last step entry, now for obligatory thank you's

Firstly I would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who contributed to my registration fee, rest assured that I'll be back next year paying off my own back:D

Secondly (and finally, I don't want to blabber on and on) I (and most of the other participants) would like to extend a big thanks to anat0l for making it possible for AFF to participate in this great event, c'mon don't be shy raise a glass to him:lol:

Josh:p

truly, anat0l did a fabulous job on the organisation of us and I owe him a drink when next I see him.

Pity that we are georgraphically spread out (making a group photo of either team out of the question).

starworld, we have 3 members with combined 13 step entries to go - come on and get them in before the closure. We are also 1K steps behind THAT other team :D (who I think must be the winners :o). At present, figures look like:
Code:
                             My Team My Organisation
Daily Step Avg. Per Person 12,194 12,670
Total Steps 9,474,789 19,689,588
Pity we probably won't make 20M steps as an organisation.

Very geographically spread out!

I ended up with:
Daily Step Avg. 12,832
Total Steps 1,424,369

I ended up with:
Daily Step Avg. 14,013
Total Steps 1,555,530

With one entry remaining by one member the Team One Alliance stats are :
Daily Step Avg. 13,185
Total Steps 10,245,321

Well done to everyone and especially to anat0l for putting it all together.

I started off with a 21k average and ended up with 13.5 ish
All i found was that there is a HUGe difference between spending the day in the office shing a chair with my butt and actually doing some work

(about 12k)!

I might buy a bike as well next year as i got very bored on the treadmill !
