Unfortunately my heart was not in it at all this year.

I had a much better total this year, but definitely lost interest just after half way through....

My heart was in it most of the way, only a couple of slack days where my bum was glued to a chair. Having 2 dogs to walk in the mornings started off most days at 8K. Surprised by my best being 22K, as I'm sure I had a bigger best last year.

I am relieved it's over, now back to normal channels

Global Corporate Challenge 2012?

Hi everyone.

I had a call recently from Michelle Jakubowska of the Global Corporate Challenge basically thanking me for our (AFF) participation in the GCC 2011. We chatted a bit about how AFF went this year, and all of you with bitter comments about the website - I made a passionate case for your discontent clear to the GCC. Thanks for that feedback.

As a matter of transparency and completeness, I've been emailed the final GCC report for AFF, which can be viewed from this link: AFF GCC 2011 Team Report (PDF, 1.4MB)

Michelle also brought up the prospect of an AFF team (or teams) for GCC 2012, and has asked me to pass on the details of someone who is willing to be the organiser (Team Manager) for next year.

I will not be reprising my role as the AFF Team Manager this year; as most have probably seen I did a pretty scrappy job of being the current one (a multitude of commitments during the GCC didn't help at all, including being out of the country), so I'd like someone else to take the lead with all the administrative what not.

If you are interested, can you please let me know (post here, PM me, email me if you know) so that I can pass your details onto Michelle in the new year.
