How does this fit in then I quote
"It's time for a 2020 Qantas Double Status Credit offer! Book and pay for a new reservation by 25 February 2020 and earn double Qantas Status Credits on eligible flights. The offer is valid on Qantas operated flights with a QF flight number, for travel from 28 February 2020 - 14 February 2021. There is no restriction on which airline issues the tickets, meaning partner airfares which include QF operated QF flight numbers are also eligible.

Book an international business class flight to fast track your way to a higher Qantas status tier. Contact our Airfare Consultants to book your flights and make the most of this offer."
It is as clear as mud to me.

My reading:

They mean who issues the tickets - be it AY, BA, QF, a travel agent or whoever... but the eligible flights are still only QF operated/QF number. And also if you have a RTW fare with other airlines but QF sectors those QF sectors will be eligible.

There is no conflict... despite the slightly misleading text IMO

Disclaimer:Ω Any flight with a QF flight number on the ticket which is not operated by Qantas including Jetstar, Jetstar Asia, Jetstar Japan, Jetstar Pacific and other partner airlines are not eligible for this offer.

Always read the fine print at the bottom

I thought it was clear enough that only QF-coded flights on QF metal were eligible - no matter where you purchased the ticket (as long as you had registered for the DSCs, of course).

I have no need to utilise this but my brother is certainly wanting to. He asked me whether GVs will be OK (purchased and used in the respective windows, of course).

I couldn't answer that with certainty.

Comments, anyone?

There’s nothing I can see in the offer terms that’s different to previous DSC offers.

There’s only one way to know if anything IT related has changed in the background...

Do double status credits include Sunstate, Eastern etc (regional) who operate under the QF Link brand?

Well I agree, but the question was asked....

I'm sure this has come up before - but if I cancel an existing booking for a red edeal fare and and take the voucher (also offers me a refund) to use towards another fare and then rebook similar flights will I be earning DSC on the new booking or will it be somehow using the original PNR and thus not be eligible?

I made a FLEX Intl Y booking last night and I cancelled it today (for no fee, the agent on the phone understood when I said that I'm only cancelling to book the same ticket with DSC).

Now, I need to wait until tomorrow to make the booking - because, I got a 50% bonus SC offer on 14th Feb, for bookings till 20th Feb.

I'm not sure if these offers would conflict each other - so I'm choosing to hold my booking until after 20th Feb 11:59 PM - just to be in the clear for DSC and not the 50% bonus.

Ah short of sales fares, we pay extra so for me the question is sure I got more credits but at what cash cost?

Eg Adel -Hobart $189 sale (has been $165). Today $270 with double credits
Mel - adl J $664 (so about a 14% (?) discount) for 80 SCs
Syd - Adl $129 today $155 with double credits

One of my potential EU flights is samecprice but double SCs so I might get on that one

ADL - Auckland or Christchurch HAS CURRENT J sales reduced fares (especially via Brisbane) is cheaper than ADL - Gold Coast via Melb with 180 extra SCs

Has anyone previously book flights via Amex travel using a travel credit (the ones that come with the yearly card) and received the double status credits?
