Registered and booked a flight to keep WP. Will now look at 2021.

I'm sure this has come up before - but if I cancel an existing booking for a red edeal fare and and take the voucher (also offers me a refund) to use towards another fare and then rebook similar flights will I be earning DSC on the new booking or will it be somehow using the original PNR and thus not be eligible?

You will be ineligible unfortunately. It's the date of the original booking.

Looks like my day tomorrow has just become mapping out the next few months worth of movements!

Has anyone previously book flights via Amex travel using a travel credit (the ones that come with the yearly card) and received the double status credits?

Yes - the last two years usng the $450 Qantas credit that comes with the Amex Qantas Ultimate card.

Looking to book a RTW which includes a QF HKG-AUS segment. These have been reduced per the announcement but what happens if this continues and I find that QF have also cancelled the booked QF segment. For standard SCs I could claim ORC - but what about the DSC?

Has anyone had precedent of this on previous offers?

Regards,

BD

Just booked a NZ return same day in business. $1,300 for 320SC. As happy as you can be spending 320SC but glad to know I have another year under my belt. I did the same flight last year. Cost almost $1,600.

Any exclusion for government funded travel? I can't see any, but thought that was a standard clause.

EDIT:
Disregard.
In accordance with Commonwealth policy, this offer is not available to you if you are travelling for Commonwealth purposes.

I registered on their website this morning with my QFF details - it said "you're in" (well words to that effect) but the email confirmation hasn't come through yet - this happened to anyone else?
