Found on another board... anyone indulged in chocolate moose lately?

I heard that could be really tough. Plus, not suitable at all for vegetarians. :)

Mousse may also not be suitable for vegetarians as it may contain gelatine.

Hmmm... true, but can't you get non-animal based gelatines these days (besides agar agar)?

Also, I know at least three recipes for good chocolate mousse which don't use any gelatine. To be honest, the thought hadn't entered my mind. Pannacotta (or panna cotta) on the other hand...

Jessica I have the pleasure of reading sales reports where English can get sliced and diced.
My recent favourites for this month were suttle instead of subtle and the other one was "it has been quite at this customer" instead of using quiet.
I do get concerned when sales staff cannot spell one of the brands they are selling or where they botch the spelling of a competitor. That would make it hard to look up their website.

Gelatine is actually uncommon in mousse, as the egg whites and chilling are sufficient to set it. I think xanthum gum is used a bit, but I am not sure as to its effectiveness.

I could not resist posting this one, seen yesterday at our local shops.

You have just reminded me about the apparent disappearance of 'and' and 'that'. Why is it now acceptable to use 'Come visit us' in Australia? - why have we dropped the 'and' and followed the Yanks?

The same occurs with 'that' as well.
