Strictly incorrect but we know what he/she meansThought of this gem this morning. Is it correct or not correct?
"I literally just butchered the english language."
In a grammar context I assume you mean reflexive. I think you've achieved both goals. It's self contained referencing
Seen today on Facebook:
"He's a money crabber"
In context I think this was intended in a pejorative manner. But I struggle to understand how someone who makes money from crabbing would be upset.

*For those who may be unaware, most appliances come with a book that tells you how to use it. This book is called "The Instructions". !!!!!!!!!
I have bought a new microwave and here is the first gem from the instructions.* I am sure there are going to be more.
"Preferences for food doneness varies with each individual."

Preferences vary? doneness?? you wouldn't want overcookedness or undercookedness would you?
Unless they were referring to, say, beef, but who in their right mind cooks beef in the microwave? (Defrosting, yes, reheating, yes, stewing, maybe... a slab right from scratch in the microwave? How about no...)
Eggs also come to mind, e.g. poached / baked eggs and hardness of the yolk.
Perhaps a little tautology but seems a fair comment when referring to, say, a sportsperson or mega-investor etc I'd suggest. One can have lots of talismanic 'things'.On ABC radio last night one of the reporters spoke of someone being a talismatic figure
The majority of the meat I buy is first frozen then thawed in the fridge during the day then cooked in the evening. I don't notice much difference although I do have to say the ~2 year frozen steak/pork chops towards the end of last year were not crash hot.A real food crime to freeze meat and then defrost it. The meat dries out. I buy meat as I need it.
