Arising from a thread here on NYC I looked up The Queens Museum only to find my pet peeve, those who don't know what uninterested means or what disinterested means, as in, "... undeterred by the current disinterest in Tiffany lamps, (they) were struck by the beauty of the colorful glass ..." Queens Museum

An uninterested person is unconcerned or indifferent; a disinterested person is unbiased, or has no stake in the outcome. If you're on trial, you want a disinterested judge.
 
Seen at MOMI in Melbourne this week. Perhaps they can argue that ad’s is a contraction of advertisements but doesn’t cut it with me. :)
