Actually the OP didn't specify language - the sign mis-spoke for itself.

My rudimentary grasp of Italian (which never stopped me from having a go) saw me ask a very nice assistant for strawberry - which is fragola. I of course mixed it up with another word starting with F. Nearly fainted when I realised what I'd said! He was very amused and the next day when we again visited he greeted me with a wink and a very large smile.
