Has flying J ruined you?

Also, there's a part of me that, when I'm talking to friends that have flown economy and their experiences, I actually want to be able to relate to them and give my 2 cents of my experiences and how I've made flying better for myself in economy. I try to avoid revealing status and perks or whether I've flown other classes. Although I usually say its on points even if it hasn't been. I prefer to play it down. I have family that struggle so I find it inappropriate for me to be sharing J/F experiences.

So it’s like your friends shop at Aldi and you at Harris Farms.:)
For some yes, for others no. (I had to google harris farms as I'm not familiar with it :) despite spending time in Oz). I think I know the ins and outs of programs better as I may have a bit more time on my hands to look into things whereas they're busy with work, kids etc. Reading forums isn't high on their list of priorities. Or they may be saving for other things. And paying for your whole family is quite different to paying for yourself. Our circumstances are different but I'm not sure they would value the comfort factor enough to pay for it over the getting from A to B objective. They're also not plane geeks or airline geeks.
