Renewal was 31/12, only had 150SC

Today my SCs are wiped and my status still shows WP with a new renewal of 31/12/15.

Have the QFF gods smiled?

Unlikely. Similar happened to myself and a few others, except dropping from SG to PS. Took a few days for the downgraded status to show.

Sorry yohy!? but Daver6 is correct. The QFF system is quick to reset the SC, but a bit slow to update the status.

Sadly mine looked similar last year and 4 days later (the day I was flying out of HKK) when I checked I'd been demoted :evil:

I noticed something similar with 2 of my kids who were PS. The SCs disappeared, it showed a 250SC target the day after their anniversary - then a couple of days reset to NB. Grrrr.

Cross your fingers that you've had better luck....

My SCs were also wiped on 31 Dec but I have a message "congratulations you have retained platinum".

My sister's SCs were wiped, she is still showing as SG but no message to say she has retained it so I am assuming she will drop to PS. If only QF allowed family SC transfer.

In the past your average balance over 3 years is used.

And if it still showing as Platinum with a renewal date of December 2015, i'd bet on it being comp'd.

I would not, a couple of members last month had the same change, a few days later their new lower status appeared.

MrP stayed at WP for a few months when he should have dropped back. . When Qantas updated their website back in October last year it dropped him back to SG.

Now he's about to be back to WP.

That was my experience. I think it was the 3rd of the month that I dropped back.

It'd certainly make things difficult this year if I was still Plat when booking work travel as it's quite flexible who we fly.

The new FF page was not properly tested and this is one of the problems.

Seems the IT people took a short cut with how the review date was generated for display.

The previous portal would still have shown a review date of Dec 2014 in these cases.

That's a pity. We always have that (oft) forlorn hope that QFF might smile upon us but obviously not to be

I got a "Congratulations, you have retained platinum" popup upon logging in to the QFF page around mid december (year ends 31/12) while I was still on 1060 SCs with 260SC worth of travel booked around the 19th. Ended the year with 1320 SC so I hope this isn't counted as a "comp". I might need to rely on the "average of past three years being > 1400" route to get a comp to WP for next year.
