Have I been comp'd WP

I got a "Congratulations, you have retained platinum" popup upon logging in to the QFF page around mid december (year ends 31/12) while I was still on 1060 SCs with 260SC worth of travel booked around the 19th. Ended the year with 1320 SC so I hope this isn't counted as a "comp". I might need to rely on the "average of past three years being > 1400" route to get a comp to WP for next year.

If you ended your year with 1320 and you were already WP, it's 1200 to retain, so you are sweet are you not?

Today I get "You need 385 additional Status Credits to keep Platinum", with 31/1/15 as membership anniversary.

What gives? Any suggestions?

I actually was wondering why I'd been apparently comped and then that complementary WP retention is withdrawn???

I betchya it was a bug that was resolved. I'd say they still want you to get the SC's for WP by the end of the month.... certainly would be the assumption to make rather than the nicer one - then you can only be surprised rather than disappointed!

It worked enough for us this time. But double would have been amazing.

Have you checked your profile to receive offers? MrP didn't receive them for years then someone suggested I check his profile. Sure enough the offer choice wasn't ticked. Updated it and the very next cycle and always from then on, he received them.

oh no I used to get them. I think as P1 QF sees no reason or value to offer SC offers to P1's that's all I get it.

I did miss getting the double SC offers as SG and WP though all good

I called them: even though it is not showing online, I have been comped (on average of 3 years) and card is issued and in the mail. Happy.

Did they actually say that ("average of 3 years")? Thus far, there has been nothing that states that or otherwise makes it something 'official'.

Yes. "You have aggregated enough over three years" or words to that effect

Is there generally any advance notice of comp status?If so, how far in advance?

My renewal is 31 Dec, and I have been WP for the past four years, but haven't done enough this year to retain. Based on my bookings next year I would probably re-qualify towards the middle of my year, but would be nice to have WP for the earlier trips.

In the past 6 yrs it'd be about 7k SC's and no never been comped before.
