Previously, my points would post on the 11th or 12th of the month. It's now the 13th, we're about to hit a weekend and there's no sign of them. Not sure what's happened.

A NYC we stayed at took 7 days to release the block on the card of about USD900.00.

Funnily enough, booked a flight with Qantas the other day and they took the money and a pre-auth of the same amount on the card. Took them a 8 days (including weekend) to release my money back to me. Was very annoying!

Hmm, so I just put $200 on it and booked a ferry in Brisbane with it for two. But it wouldn't go through at the ferry-end, lady reckoned I didn't have enough funds. Figured at the time it was still going through. Also topped up my (Optus) phone with it, but had to go back one before the final page. Payment hadn't gone through yet but then went to go through with it and wouldn't accept the card.

On the QFCash website, under my account, these two payments are still shown as 'pending' and I only have $20 in the account. So, what the heck - where did my money go? To the ferry lady and optus? To qantas? Still in my bank account? Still on the card? Floating around in cyber space?

Still no QF points but apparently it does say the points take up to 8 weeks to appear!

Got a similar "problem" actually.

Loaded up my Qantas Cash card and it has more than sufficient funds to cover my purchase and then some (logged into Qantas Cash to check the balance beforehand). This was an online transaction.

Tried to use my QCash card to pay for it - rejected. Had to pay it with a regular credit card.

Just checked QCash online now and the "rejected" transaction is now "pending". This is rather disturbing, but I'll give the benefit of the doubt until it disappears, or materialises, in which case the latter there will be a bit of lividness to be had.

I have had quite a few declined transactions, they show as pending then drop very annoying.

My only declined transactions I attribute to entering the wrong PIN :p

Still waiting on this/last months points though.

I tried to load 250$ with a load request / BPay on Tuesday morning. Funds hasn't shown up on the account until now :-|
Any idea why it takes that long?

I thought BPay should not take longer than normal interbank transfer (one business day), another BPay payment to a CC account made at the same time was already received at the other end by Tuesday night. Is this just a trick to "lock" the money to float Qantas one more day??

The Faqs advise that BPay will take 2-3 Australian business days. In my case it was almost exactly 48 hours.

It can be 24 hours with other providers. I believe it's up to 3 business days with the cash card. If I recall correctly, you should've received a msg explaining loading may take up to 3 days at some stage during the process. Insofar as why 3 business days? Probably to use your money to make QF a profit using financial instruments relevant to operational needs and market conditions. A financial guru on here could provide a more detailed response.

FWIW all my BPAY have been close to 48 hours, and points posted yesterday as per normal rather than the double.

Has anyone else taken up this offer. And when did they say they would allocate the points.
Rec'd an email from Qantas offering 500 bonus points if I activate my card and load $250 in 1 transaction by 31 Jan.

I read somewhere in the email it could take 8 weeks from end of promotion. I guess this means the end of March or close to this as the promotion end date is 31st January.

Just noticed that you can now reveal your PIN when logged in, saving you the tedious phone call.

Accessed via "Card & Personal Settings".

Don't believe this was possible previously.

I've just finished reading the whole thread. I was fairly lucky when I applied. The system couldn't authenticate the Dun and Bradstreet information but it verified my details some other way and I was eventually able to get my pin. I haven't loaded any cash yet. I'm going to have trouble reading the BPay code. I'm usually very good at reading tiny print but this font is ridiculous.

I'm in the minority of people who actually have a use for the card for domestic use. I'm paranoid about putting credit card details on the internet so it's rare that I'm able to make online purchases. I'll be loading up $250 on the card soon so if anyone steals the details then that is all they can get. The account which I will use to BPay the money only has the $250 plus another tiny amount. I will be only transfering funds to this account as required. Eventually I will be using the Qantas Cash card to purchase Coles gift cards at a 5% discount using next years Entertainment Book.

As this appears to be a general QCASH thread, if you had an email yesterday saying your request to transfer all cash back your bank account was approved, you can ignore it as it was an error.

On a related note, despite the call centre staff being very good (and based in the UK), has anyone found a quicker way to et through to them. So many menu options you have to jump through before they'll speak to you!

I haven't tried this push button service yet but some services which want you to push buttons automatically send you to an operator if you didn't push any buttons. Have you tried this approach? It might be quicker than pushing the right buttons depending on how long they wait before transfering you to a real human.

Assume you've read it by now, but assuming they're all the same, it's: 535807.

Of course, if you look on the website on how to load CASH, it'll give you these details too I'm sure.

Thanks for putting the number in. I discovered when I entered the "load" in my account it gave me a one off biller code and reference number specifically for that transaction so I used those details for my BPay transaction. I guess there are several ways to get funds loaded onto the card.

Hello, I know the options say Bpay and that other one to load cash but are we actually able to load from a credit card (Mastercard too)?

I am trying to activate, from QFF website, my Qantas cash card and keep getting a error message saying the requested URL cannot be retrieved anyone else having this problem?

Going through okay on my end, try another browser?
