Have your say with the QFF CEO over lunch at Rockpool Bar and Grill...

Congratulations winners :) I'm looking forward to hearing the news from the day.

Curious to know what questions you each asked, particularly the winning entries if you feel up to posting them (and although I didn't enter, hope my questions earlier in this thread get answered!)

Cheers

J

Congratulations to all the winners, I guess I just didn't ask the tough questions. :-|

Someone just did the dance of joy ;)

I am not sure whether I am more excited about finally meeting a few AFFers, having lunch at Rockpool or asking the really hard questions that I didn't send Red Roo :p

You would have been one member I would have liked to have finally met, meeting up with a bunch of AFFers will be an enjoyable day.

I am sure it would have been a tough choice by Red Roo and the rest of the Qantas staff in selecting just 10 people. I am glad they didn't exclude members from Perth, well done thewinchester.

So, what were the not hard questions you did send?

Trying not to give too much away, my questions were around delving into the mechanics of the program (both flyer and lounge) including exploring the journey from idea to end enhancement, some numbers, and some how and when questions on lounges.

I'm hoping there's no commercial in confidence issues that'll might prevent sharing back some of the day's discussion with the AFF and frequent flyer communities at large. Assuming there isn't, I'm hoping at the very least to live tweet some of the key salient points as well as some blog coverage post-event.

Yes, it'll be fun ex-PER. I'll have to fly either the night before thanks to DST meaning first flights of the day won't arrive in time, or do the red eye via MEL to freshen up in the lounge (thank heavens for a few spare lounge passes from PS qualification and unemployment meaning I can't renew my QP membership at the moment).

You could always freshen up in the DJ Lounge :p

Shouldn't be, unless they make you sign an NDA which I'm sure you would already know about. Once they tell you it should be public info (otherwise you would no longer be able to buy Qantas shares...)

Congrats to all who were chosen, look forward to hearing all about it.

Here's a thought, with complimentary tickets will you be allowed to access the lounge?

This was an interesting line (and slight concern) in the invite received from Red Roo:

"On the day, we may do some filming and/or photography. I will update you closer to the event on these details and you may be required to sign a ‘talent release form’ on the day"

 I'm pleased a) I am overseas, and b) My questions would have been rubbish and I would not have been selected. I have so little talent of any kind I can't afford to release it!!:p

Yeah.. I can just picture myself popping up in The Australian Way to the great delight of all my colleagues!! Thanks Red Roo for the opportunity to attend, very excited.

Not sure why that's a "concern".

I always expected that QF would want to get maximum value out of the event, and they are just covering their legal requirements with the release form. Who knows, we might end up famous (I wonder if they've actually seen pictures of us, I know that I'm unlikely to end up gracing one of their billboards :p)

I was pleased at being referred to as thetalent given that I need to sign a talent release form- now where is my winnebago?

If not, DJ SG and WP's can just use the lounge and wander to the QF terminal/gates, airport depending of course ;)

Should we all turn up in our finest trailer park apparel? That could make for an interesting photo shoot. Try and get 'highly valued frequent flyers' or 'some of our most frequent flyers' in the caption of that photo and have people not question it's legitimacy ;)

But we can all still go have lunch at Mockpool :lol:

I've heard a few people whisper they may have to suddenly have lunch there that day. I wonder if we'll be shuffled into a private dining room somewhere away from the riff raff ;)

</tongue_in_cheek>
