I'm having a cuppa in my hotel in Clarendon Street, South Melbourne looking out onto a cold and wet day, thinking of the battle she endured...might raise a glass tonight in the QF J Lounge

I hate cancer ;( :(

I literally have gosebumps reading your fb post QF WP- if that isnt a beautiful example of the Australian spirit I dont know what is.

Received a very nice email from the support team as well.

"Hi Oatek, Thank you all for your support over the last 9 months.*

Jennifer did prove the doctors wrong and lived well past her predicted "expiry date" (Her words). She was so grateful for all the support and prayers she received throughout her treatment.
Unfortunately it is with a heavy heart that we let you know that on June 17th 2015 Jennifer passed away in Canada. Jen was able to tick off many items on her bucket list due to the support of you all, she also was able to spend much needed quality time with her family.

Jen will be forever in our hearts and her spirit will live on in her 4 Boys, Husband Scott and all her family and friends from around the world.

RIP Jen always and forever loved*

Kind Regards,
Jen's Support Team"

I saw the FB announcement this morning - tragic when she was so young. As one who has had their brush with Ca, very sobering.
It is wonderful they were able to travel to Canada to spend that valuable time with Jen's family.

Wonderful post from you WP.

QF WP, please be sure to keep us informed of anything we can do to assist the family's retur to Australia in due course.

You have my word. Need to catch up with Red Roo, to see in what form this can take, in the event that the request is made. I know a couple of other AFF'ers that may be able to contribute as well, depending on the circumstances.

Such sad news. But comforting that Jen and family were able to tick some things off her bucket list.
Thank you for sharing.

Okay, Im going to admit to shedding a tear when I read this - particularly the Swinburne letter. It cost them nothing but has engendered a lot of respect
