My 13,755 LTSC are ~93% from work travel, all whY except for 20SC's from when I changed a revenue whY to a revenue J to retain SG

The whY was ~65% disc / ~30% flex / ~5% 1.5 or DSC offers

And not easy from your heck of the woods. Well done you !!

90% of that in domestic Y
10% International J
Most of our travel is private too

Presently on 27,235 SC points, it has taken about 15yrs, although the last couple of years have been P1 so they add up quickly. Not as much as some om this thread, but getting up there.

All my travel is privately funded and leisure only and so currently on 24,230 SC's which has taken just over 12 years and if it wasn't for AFF I doubt very much if I would have found the way to be LTG...so many thanks to all those members who have helped me get to where I am now

Chris G - That is one impressive number. Also thanks for the reminder on Tier Credits, I must be getting old and reaching the age of senility, I was wondering why my SC total always seem to end in 3 or 8.

Also at that number I am wondering if AJ extends a CL invite to you or do you just get to hang out at normal domestic QP and QP J like the rest of us mortals.

So basically you need to fly Qantas to earn status credits right?
Not just QF. Paid travel in eligible booking classes on most oneworld carriers along with Jetstar¹ and some Qantas' partner airlines can garner some SC's.

In November I flew BA Business LHR-IST at a cost of £58+£125 to earn 80 SC's.

More here: www.qantas.com/fflyer/dyn/flying/airline-earning

¹ Jetstar is a little more complicated, but I doubt it's an issue here.

... fly Qantas (& OW) AND pay more than just fuel fines for the flight :)

27,500 for me and I'm happy to say that my rate of accumulation has slowed dramatically over the past 5 years as I enjoy other airlines and fly on points more.

Wholesalers like CE always look for the wholesale way of doing their travel. Paying for airline tickets becomes more and more difficult unless it is an emergency. No need to trouble that account called "Cash At Bank" too often.
