Highest Lifetime Status Credits?

.

As for the highest lifetime SC, I am in awe (?) of some of the posters. Not sure if to congratulate or express condolences at the loss of so many hours of life being airborne" :)

I know what you mean! With no offence to those posting these numbers, it makes me feel physically ill some of the highest numbers, I don't care if it's been all F flying or Y domestic hops! I've actively been trying to cut my travel back to resemble a 'normal' person to enjoy what I find more important and am in complete awe of the numbers being posted.... more as an endurance feat though!

I just learned how to go back in time on the QF activity statement (never too old to learn) and discovered that I earned 9160 status credits in 94-96. On the statement they can now only be listed as SC's but a pity they also expired. I didn't bother to check my points earned but I remember one very nice FA commenting that I practically lived with QF. Also very few complaints in a lot of flying - those were the days.
Errm ...

Here's what I see for a flight taken in October 1994 - this was a B class fare (Economy Flex)

hat.gif
1116

With Qantas Frequent Flyer, Status Credits (nor Tier Credits) did not exist back then.

For mine it counted as one Flight of the 20 required for Blue status. Distance was 707 Km and non Y fare bucket earn was 70% of Km distance, so 495 points were earned. (In domestic economy, anything other the the Y fare bucket was 'discount')

These days it would earn a no status QP (as I was then) 20 SC's and 600 points. Mind you, 495 points could take one a lot further back then than 600 would these days.

Certainly 1116 is not representative of anything I am currently aware of; in 8 B class fares that year I "earned" a little over 8500 of these.

There are certainly some strange entries in the good old days. It appears that a lot of points were entered manually quite a while after flights were taken. I have a lot of zero entries against multiple international flights and then incomprehensible figures against a domestic flight with an "ERR" code.

I think the numbers may relate to the number of glasses of Moet consumed.

MEL SYD? didn;t see an Moet in First or Business!

Looks like a lot of J travel there - Business class earned 125% of the Km distance travelled.

I think VB was the drink of choice on domestic flights but international flights then really were a step up from treatment on home soil........and in the air. Another month's posting:

Consumption of Champagne not immediately obvious from this tally!

I'm not too old to learn - would you mind sharing (PM is fine).

Thanks

There are others better qualified to instruct but here goes:
1. Login to QFF
2.Click on "Activity Statement"
3. Alongside "Activity Statement for ........." change --month-- to a preceding month
4. In your browser window (I'm using Chrome) identify Choice=(monthyear) and substitute your choice e.g. nov94 (which is for November 1994)

That should bring up the summary of your chosen month.

If that doesn't work then I'm sure others will help. Now you can fly backwards.

I would love to know if you can get a personal passenger record of all flights taken, including those prior to joining QFF.

grussellt have you done this recently? The change the URL trick doesn't seem to be working for me in multiple browsers.

I did it today with no issue. Managed to fill in the few remaining ngaps of my records ...

Thanks serfty. I'm clearly doing something wrong. I might try a different pc. Is it as simple as the steps above because my URL doesn't include Cloice=(monthyear)?

Thanks. Unfortunately it still throws up Sept '17 for me - in the new website format too. I might have to do it the hard way - direct with QF.

Do not on click the link I posted; it won't work.

Log on.

Copy the entire character string and past it into the browser address then hit enter.

Thanks for responding. That's what I did and tried again. Same issue still.

As an aside, when I go to the activity statement view, the URL does NOT include any URL parameters either.

That's very strange. I've followed those steps exactly but like Daver6 my URL line doesn't have the Choice=(monthyeah).

URL does not have any of those URL parameters :( I'm using the latest Firefox browser.
