Highest Lifetime Status Credits?

Perhaps the easiest solution to getting access to your history of QF flights is to call QF (the phone number is on the back of your QFF card), and ask for a history of your flights to be sent to you. It costs a couple of thousand QFF points, which for many of us would be good value.

Finally got it to work using a combo of grussellT and serfty's suggestion after experience the same issues as the rest of you.

Nope, now its not working.

That's very strange. I've followed those steps exactly but like Daver6 my URL line doesn't have the Choice=(monthyeah).
i did it once yesterday and it worked perfectly. Tried it again with Ms FM's account and the URL line is totally different - no date to change. This is with Chrome.

That is exactly what I found but in the space of five minutes went from working to not on the same computer.

same with me - I tried it on my account - was able to go back a number of years, then logged out of my ff account, immediately logged into Ms FMs and did the same thing and totally different URL.

With the latest QF Website does anyone know how to get access to the number of Lifetime Status Credits you have? It appears the functionality didn't cut across to the new Website. I can see where it will show up to 14,000 (Lifetime Gold Status) but nothing beyond?

There was a workaround mentioned in this thread, post #62, but I wasn't able to replicate it.

New changes to QF FF account page

I don't think it is possible to see the LT tally after it reaches 14,000.

It is just a memory at the moment. We were both over 20,000 so it really doesn’t matter seeing there is no lifetime Platinum.

Hmmm. An interesting development?
Have had a look, too, since your post and cannot see a link.
Anyone else have a clever way through?:)

Probably wishful thinking on my behalf but QF could use the new Lifetime Status gauge (currently displays up to 14K SC's with Lifetime Gold) to display Lifetime Platinum (and beyond) status depending on when QF choose to roll it out.

Call me cynical, but I suspect one of the reasons they dropped the tally was to dampen speculation about lifetime platinum.

Sadly I agree with HT.

The message I get from it is.. it doesn't matter if you have 14,205 SC's or 78,990 SC's you're LTG so that's it.

They prob changed it because say we saw our LTSC balance get bigger and bigger and nothing ever done with it. I mean I know I'm over 24k SC's myself

For goodness sake they could throw us a bone of like 50k points at 5000LTSC or something... but nope.

I'm not convinced that SCs are an accurate indicator of QF loyalty. They could well be for Platinum One but not for most other levels.

For Qantas to provide Lifetime Platinum they would most likely need to go to a revenue based model which would not be suitable to the majority of people on AFF.

But that's only one opinion out of many.

And adding my opinion, in order to attain a notional "LTP" level, say 28000 SC, you have to fly so much that I doubt that there is anyone who has done that who would be flying much less than J class anyway - the cost to QF of such small frivolities as Flounge access would be tiny. Would be minimal.

From my experience, when you are at P1 level you get sick of travel, even the Flounge. At most I have two glasses of champagne and a serve of eggs benny.

I am sure that QF will introduce a LTP thing. It will truly cost them nothing.

You don't have to fly that much to reach Platinum One. Too many gimmicks.

As for Lifetime Platinum it won't happen anytime soon but if it does happen it's going to be a stretch target with possibly only QF flights (and maybe JQ flights) included.

But again that is only one opinion but please note that QF Loyalty has said there are no plans for Lifetime Platinum. There'd need to be a solid business case to provide a Lifetime Platinum benefit and I don't see it.
