I'd just go and do it.

I used the Hilton Racing promotion to regain Gold this year and it was quite painless.
After much procrastination, I have finally booked the Hilton Adelaide for 5 nights at the remarkable price of $78 per night (hopefully will get 20% HPC discount)...this includes breakfast for 2 (that must be worth at least $50!!) and hopefully an Executive floor upgrade...greedy, I know!...I have finally succumbed to the dreaded mattress run:shock:.

Just got an email that this promotion was extended to include weekends in September. I checked every weekend at the Sydney Hilton and always got the message that rate was not available.

I didn't book any stays for the current promotion because I never saw availabiltiy online. Are you guys saying that you were able to book this over the phone even though the website showed no availability? If so, I'm biting myself that I didn't call them. Would have had a few opportunities to use this promotion last month.

No email here yet :!:

When the promotion first came out there was limited availability on the Hilton web site as it seems they often need a few days to play catch up. The availability did appear a little later. ;)

Just bumping this thread really and this promo is extended through to September.......

I see some excellent rates IMO at the Millenium Hilton Bangkok in the one of the king plus suites ..... I am highly likely swayed to stay here over an SPG property given their lack of promotions over this August-October period.

Yes ... until September 27th, but stays after Aug 31 must complete on a "Weekend"!

Note the August offer for 2 for 1 is still for any two (or more) consecutive nights at participating hotels.

Hilton Summer Offers

It includes breakfast and 6pm check-out. (Note it is always a good idea to carry a printout of the above linked page when checking in/out, especially if using late check-out.)

Yes, good advice. By the way, was anyone able to get this rate in September at Hilton Sydney? I still don't believe the rate was loaded correctly. When I called they couldn't see it either. I've given up on that one now.

Hmmm...it seems that I have not been credited with my 5 night stay...points or qualifying nights!! I shall email HHonors about this but am a bit concened...

If it helps, my booking in Brisbane using the Hilton 2-for-1 (+ HPC discount) credited correctly to my Hhonors account.

After an email to Hhonors in US, thankfully have been credited with the points but more importantly, the 5 nights....so still on target to make 36 nights this year at Hilton Hotels, and therefore requalify for Gold next year:p
