Something's funky is happening - +1 got $80 credited to her account. Her card probably got a preauth for our stay in Adelaide which was booked through Amex. Even so, the preauth amount is way less than $400.

Yet to actually spend $400 but have secured the $80 Amex cashback, courtesy of a $100 then a $50 hold being placed on my credit card on two check-ins. They were refunded but the $80 credit stuck. Nice.

Not exactly one transaction, but I did spend 2x$900ish charged at the same time (as I was booking two rooms) and I got $240 credited. Hope it helps.

i'm gold via amex charge card, 0 points, never stayed at hilton as yet.

thinking of buying points during the current 100% bonus promo, however cannot for the life of me work out how many points per night it is at the chosen fiji hilton. I've ticked the points option before running the search, however the results are always in $

EDIT: looks like i can see points pricing if i NOT logged in, then I log in and the points pricing disappears! WTF
