So do we need a paper boarding pass???
OLCI + phone(Apple wallet) will not work?

Up thread there are two examples of OLCI BP's being acceptable to Immigration so you could get through and go to the QF lounge and ask them to print a paper pass for use in the other lounges. The OLCI BP will probably be acceptable to the other lounges but up to you.

Lucky you. A decent number of free seats on VA87 on Thursday, about 6-8 rows in the middle had 2 seats spare & hand a handful of window pairs only 1 pax seated. This Platinum was in a full row 11. Extremely irritating.

Yes it's all luck. See how I go with 43H tomorrow. Both rows look full but they could be blocked seats.

MH78 landed about 0120 hours and we needed the bus to bring us into the terminal. However, the bus took us to the immigration area and is was straight off up the escalator and there we were. I was first there and it took less than 30 seconds to get through.

A quick walk to the Regal hotel and checked in. There is an airline self check in desk I shall use later in the morning and then to commence the lounge crawl.
