I have done Macau on two previous occasions but only day trips. Never stayed there over night so I am interested, if there is a small crowd to explore the food. Sitting in HKG with TV ads about Macau in the background right now. Mark me as "Gold" for the HKG crawl - now I just need an airfare. I did the last two crawls in HKG so need to keep the continuity going !!

I was going to spend at least 1-2 nights in Macau either on arrival or prior to departure. The departure option may be easier looking at the ferry times.

PE fares booked via the current QF Hong Kong sale.
I'm flying in on Sunday 3 June and will do a MH or UL mileage run over a few days.
Planning to stay at Conrad Macau checking in on the Thursday.

I am now Platinum for this courtesy of the current QF sale. PE booked into HKG from SYD on QF127 on 6 June and PE on QF128 to SYD on the 10th June. I will look at Macau options next - I have to decide whether to stay one night or two but most likely will stay in HKG on 9th. Upgrade requests will be competitive on QF128 !!

I am planning to arrive on 6 Jun, staying at Conrad Hong Kong for a couple of nights and Conrad Macau for a couple of nights not sure in which order. Flight on 10 June is QF30 to MEL.

There is a direct ferry from Macau to HKIA which is convenient.

Those arriving at HKIA by ferry for onward departure by air are exempt from the Air Passenger Departure Tax so are able to obtain a tax refund of HKD$120 which is paid in cash.
