A couple of us are likely to be in Macau for a few days before hand. Nothing definite yet.

Any further consideration being given to Macau? I arrive HKG the evening of 6 June.

Should have booked QF award when they recently had the discounts.

I am travelling MEL-SYD-MCY-SYD-MEL-SYD-DOH-OSL-HAM-HKG-KUL-BKK-KUL-SIN-KUL-BKK-KUL-HKG-MEL and only one [international] flight is in Y - the last one!

Although I do have an upgrade request in.

Yes I am. And it turns out I will be sitting across the aisle from another AFFer on one of my intra-asia flights.

Emerald obviously. I also have Priority Pass with 1 guest, and can take two (one after JessicaTam) into the Centurion Lounge albeit not into the Centurion only section.

Usual flight restrictions apply to OW lounges. No same flight restrictions on PP or Centurion lounges.

Believe it or not, this will be my first trip to Hong Kong...

I suspect those attending will have status however I can guest as follows:

• OW - all J and F x1
• Amex - Centurion, not the inner sanctum x2
• Plaza Premium (PP) x1
• EK should be able to get in under QF rules x1

If the "must be on same flight" is enforced I will be traveling on QF30.

CX don't seem to worry about the 'same flight' rule. OW is usually fine.

The EK lounge will require a QF flight for pax and guest.

Jess, that is quite useful info to lock away for the future. Most of my travel is solo so guesting is not something I think of. When traveling with MrsM (also WP) and MissM they just want to head to the F lounges and each being able to guest 1 the same fight rule is not an issue.

Outside of CX F lounges and QF have never paid attention to those I can access, I never set foot in the EK or PP lounges and I do not think the AMEX lounge (at least in its current form) was there when I last went through HKG. I guess that it is why it is called a lounge crawl.
