Hi guys, it seems like a while since we last did a Hobart catch up, last one was a wine tour from memory. In light of the Craft beer, whiskey, craft Cider and Gin explosion in Hobart I would like to float this idea to gather any interest? I am happy to arrange tastings and tours and help with transport. Happy to hear about any interest, suggestions and happy to ask questions. Cheers

When are you planning to do this? We will be in Tassie later in the year.

Our last tassie trip it was 4 beers, 4 gins and 3 whiskeys by memory for my husband - before pouring him into bed for a nana nap.

I thought Russel Falls was awesome but only if it compliments the trip because its a bit of a drive.

Yes Russel Falls is easily accessible but obvious;y a bit of a drive. There was a Platypus seen swimming and feeding at the creek near Russel Falls yesterday. I guess it will ultimately come down to numbers and what vehicle/s we may need. There is an amazing Shene distillery out at Pontville which is also a bit of a drive but Myfanwy makes an absolutely memorable G&T with her Poltergeist Gin. So the end sometimes justifies the trip.

I need a reason to go to Tasmania other than going for a 5km run, and 100SCs.

Interested Love Tassie
