I'm in, assuming no dramas with my flights.

I won't be having dinner as I am not arriving into HKG until ~8:00pm but will try to stop by to say hello.

Google maps is suggesting about an hour and a half by public transport. I will be there, but may have to bring a packed lunch and water bag for the trip!

MTR shows 16 minutes for me and that's with changing

That's definitely overestimating it, although from the Gold Coast, I would expect something around 75 mins as you'll need to be on the bus for 30mins to reach the MTR network - which would be around a 40mins trip.

I'll be in HK but most likely won't be able to join you all for dinner... rather sad since you're going to Tung Po! :-|

Anyway, don't miss the wind sand chicken, the squid ink spaghetti (probably the last thing you'd expect to find at such a place) or the razor clams (if they're good on the day)! If yes, get them with garlic and rice noodles, you won't regret it!

Could I reserve a plastic chair please? :)

I'm staying at Aberdeen Harbour and it's only 25 minutes on the 69 bus door to door or ~HK$100 for an Uber to get me home.

Froggeradl, staying at Ovolo? Is the MTR connection to Aberdeen up and running?

Not sure I'll be able to make the dinner being so far away. I'm on baby duty later that evening and the travel time is a killer. However it would be great to catch up with those in town.
Who is up for afternoon drinks in central/soho?

Well that would certainly break up my trip, and remove the need for taking a 'water bag'! :)

Perhaps we should do a yum cha in Tung Chung?
