Hong Kong to Sydney oneway business or premium economy options?

What options can you guys suggest for reasonably priced options for airlines flying Hkg-Syd oneway in J or Y+?

I don't mind breaking journey on the way eg via KL but don't necessarily fly too far *backwards* (too far off course) just to get a J seat.

Qantas y+ hkg to syd is about $1100aud. So looking at other options around that price or not much more for J.

I used expedia and got a couple of fares about half of qantas for Y but you don't have Y+ fares Koren and china easten had good prices for a one way fare. Some times you can get a cheap deal from virgin atlantic in PE.

go a return in pe for a few hundred more and save it for next trip.

Too good an opportunity to waste on a one-way ex Asia when fares are so much cheaper.
