Hotel chain bans [trial] bacon for breakfast. [Nordic Comfort Hotels]

During our recent three month trip, I experienced beef "bacon" and turkey "bacon" in Malaysia and in Dubai - and they were rubbish.

But curiously, our hotel in Budapest had the saltiest bacon I've ever come across, and it was worse than the beef and turkey ones (at least they were edible). Fortunately, all other hotels had delicious bacon.
Cheers,
Renato

Are you serious???? What planet do you live on? You clearly need to travel more. There are many millions who want bacon and eggs (Ausralians, New Zealanders, English... most anglo saxon and many others) when they're staying in a hotel. Indeed many other countries' peoples enjoy that breakfast when in a foreign land, just like I eat noodles for breakfast when visiting Indonesia. ... I manage a hotel. What are you on?
My point is not about which hotels cater to western palates. My point was that few nationalities have bacon and eggs as their staple breakfast dish

Stop beating about the bush Fflh - tell us what you are really thinking! ;)

BTW you forgot to add 300mil Yanks to your list - just to tip the scales.

Staying at one of about 100 Clarion properties in Tromso. Happy to report... Bacon is on the menu.

I'm not sure they know how to cook it

We had veal bacon, turkey bacon and beef bacon in Dubai. All rubbish to me.

Bacon Bacon Bacon and Garlic yum

No bacon in the NZ lounge in BNE-only chicken (!) sausages this morning. Glad I stopped by the VA domestic lounge for a bacon sandwich (more appealing than breakfast on VA J SYD-BNE)
