How best to give Qantas some feedback

At least redeem for something other than flights?

By the end of the year, I'll still have around 100k+ points and I'd still like to get the most out of them, but unfortunately for anything other than reward flights, it's horrible value.

For around 110k points, I could get 2 x return economy reward seats from Melbourne to HK which would be worth $1k+ easily if paid with cash.

Even a 1 way rewards business seat to HK for around 80k points which would be thousands if paid with cash.

For the same amount of points, on Qantas Marketplace I'd only be able to get a Sony WH-1000XM5 which is only worth around $550 or so.

I think overall though, if you've been lucky enough to get ALL your desired seats / class / flight times and dates in the initial booking, then it's okay / worth it. To change though, is a massive pain.

Honestly, how hard is it to change your rewards seats when they're clearly advertised online when doing a simple rewards search? For Qantas, apparently way too difficult and the only way is to call.

Not everyone is Platinum and gets the much coveted Hobart call centre team - but even then you shouldn't need to be Platinum to be able to change to alternative rewards seats which are showing online.
