Booked King Guestroom, received Relaxation Room.
Is there a difference? (genuine question)

There's the relaxation room, then next one up is the relaxation suite which is even bigger with a 2 person jacuzzi. I personally prefer the relaxation room as there's total blockout blinds whereas the suite's blinds by the jacuzzi is not total blockout which can be annoying for someone like me who needs total darkness to sleep.
Every Relation Suite (and every other suite type, and I've had them all) at HSYD has had block out blinds by the jacuzzi in the bathroom... Maybe theres a dodgy one or two without? I'm same, need total darkness to sleep.
Strange, I thought I've done almost all the relaxation suites and there's only the white plastic shutter type blinds by the jacuzzi. Have I missed the separate switch somewhere? I've never bothered asking- just assumed that's the feature of that room type.Every Relation Suite (and every other suite type, and I've had them all) at HSYD has had block out blinds by the jacuzzi in the bathroom... Only gripe with relaxation room is its next to the lift so you do get the whooshing sound. The suite is good for a couple, if one gets too noisy at night, you could shunt them to the full size lounge and close the bedroom door, can't do that with relaxation room. For 1 person, relaxation room is good enough.I was wondering, if there is a relaxation room, at a lesser degree of comfort than a relaxaion suite. I'm unsure myself, hence my quip about "genuine question".
Ah, so there is a relaxation room as well as a relaxation suite? It seems a lot of the debate with this is centered around a relaxation suite! I was curious as I've either had a "dogbox" (of whatever name they choose to call it) or a King Suite. Never the twain shall meet!Only gripe with relaxation room is its next to the lift so you do get the whooshing sound. Does anyone have any experience with the Walford Astoria in New Orleans (or any Hiltons there)?
I was in New Orleans a couple of months ago. I stayed over the road in the Intercontinental from the Hilton. I can say that it would be a fairly quiet hotel and handy to everything. Max 10 minute walk to Bourbon St, River etc. Would suggest trying for room away from the road as can be noisy with the tramsDoes anyone have any experience with the Walford Astoria in New Orleans (or any Hiltons there)?
