Fantastic. Good news.
The main issue with MVP is finding the rates outside of North America.Anat0l, can you please confirm that your MVP fast track worked at properties outside the US. The MVP website says the promotion is only valid at US Hiltons.

However, have you enrolled in the MVP program? Four Hilton stays or 9 nights to Gold Status! - your itinerary should romp it in.

It is any stay - as long as it is eligible for a 'stay' or 'night' credit; the special rate is a bonus that may be available if you are travelling in North America, it does not have to be booked using it.I just signed up to MVP but didn't realize you had to book special rates to qualify? Thought it was any stay at any Hilton booked thru their website...?
I'm status chasing at Hilton as of tomorrow:
9 Sep Sydney
17-21 Oct Las Vegas
23 Oct Narita Airport*
24-30 Oct Hanoi Opera hotel
I hope that should get me some sort of status!

meloz, it's the same as your experience last week, except I'm only humble Gold .
Gee thanks Grandpa
I'll have to find out why they are calling me that - not the first time. Yes, my name in USA is more likely to be female, but we are in Australia and my middle name should certainly make most people think I am male
