How do you store your wine [+ Fridge/Cabinet recommendations]

The racks are a modular product called “Cellarstak”. Each wine pocket is made up of 6 pieces so there is a lot of assembly required.

I got the timber inserts to break up the solid look of the wall. I will also place the drink now, no need to call and ask wines in the triangles, so that good wine doesn’t go in the bolognese for dinner.

I ordered them from “The Wine Rack Shop”, who freighted them across to me. The total cost including delivery worked out to around $4 per pocket.

This is great system. I use the same. They are based in Adelaide.

I have used them for my under staircase walls so that I can use every bit of space available. The staff are super helpful and if you speak to them, they can sell you the most economical packs and then individual bits for filling out your whole space. In adelaide, they will even do the whole install if you like (I'm guessing for a fee).

Highly recommend buying a rubber mallet from Bunnings if you are going to DIY.

I assume Cellarstak fits the larger diameter red bottles.

I had purchased a similar DIY system in the past but this was holes drilled in a wood board separated by metal railings, but it basically didn't fit about half the bottles of red I had at the time.

I haven't had any problems with 750ml Reds.

I have 1000ml Whites that fit as well.

I have problems with some bottles of Champagne that have a larger girth. Most Champagnes will fit without problem.

Anyone got an opinion or two on Lecavist wine fridges?

I have 195 Liebherr already, which I love but need another, and the 312 Liebherr is getting up a little further up there. Looking for potential alternates that will go the long way.

Or other brands?
