My husband has some mobility problems. As we were catching Eurostar the next morning I booked this hotel for its location. However I loved it! Very eclectic in every way but comfortably so. Great bed. The restaurant is well regarded and mainly Israeli based which I enjoyed, A little noisy so next time I would book a room overlooking the courtyard.

I am not a huge fan of Pullmans but the Auckland property is one I would revisit, and has a lounge on the top floor that’s does not get crowded
I am assuming that you are referring to the Pullman Auckland Hotels & Apartments? If so, then yes, I would agree with your sentiment here (my review is here). It is a nice hotel to stay at. Location wise it's good, not as centrally located as the SO, but on the other hand a lot less street noise. Breakfast was good and it also has an executive lounge should you hold Platinum (or better) Accor status (or book a room with that benefit).

Just thought I'd ask: did your room have minibar service? When I stayed there back in 2023, they didn't have a minibar (on account of COVID) which was a bit of a let down as I was intending to raid the minibar as a Accor Platinum (you get unlimited soft drinks from the minibar at MGallery properties as a Platinum)
