How good is the massage in the first class lounge in SYD?

I am one of those undeserving Y pax who was given an F-Lounge pass in the hope it would make me forgive Qantas management for their extreme actions last year.

That was a lost cause, but the spa was very nice! Perhaps they should ban CL and F passengers from the spa because their sense of entitlement is ruining the whole atmosphere. Might explain the attitude of some staff - though my experience was fantastic from the minute I walked in the lounge.

Since it is likely to be my last time I probably should have sat down for lunch to sample the full F-Lounge offerings, but there is something sad about dining alone and the timing wasn't great anyway. Given the choice again ..... I would still make the spa my first priority and the 30-minute "invigorating" massage was great.

But I have a question (and sorry if it has been covered before) :- is it appropriate to tip the masseuse?
Umm - I travel F and I don't think I have ever been rude or had a sense of entitlement!! Sometimes status people can be very demanding.......I have never tipped in the F spa I assume they get a decent salary. If I had one in the USA , or an emerging nation I would definitely tip.

Which treatments are most recommended? Have a flight out of SYD in a few weeks. Should I be lucky enough that there are slots available, wondering what is best.

I've only ever had the 30 minute option and recommend the facial with neck/shoulder massage.

what would be the earliest flight one can take and make the massage at the same time?
