Yep - discovered that it was a PITA! Eventually got it sorted without any assistance fees.As you've already discovered yourself:
- Flight credits are created almost instantly - you should be able to use the existing PNR/booking reference to re-book right away even before you get the flight credit e-mail
- You can't use flight credits for multi city bookings and you'll need to do the booking over the phone. Make sure they waive any assistance fees since it's not something you can do online yourself)=,
