I've been watching the action over in the Velocity forums as many WP's keenly get their status matched by VA but it led me to wonder exactly how much demand their could conceivably be. Does anyone know (roughly) how many WP's QF have? And, following on from that, how many Golds and Silvers?

If no one knows can anyone take an educated stab at guessing based on what info is out there?

There is an older thread which gave percentages based on a conference presentation. Someone should be able to track it down.

It's about 4% of members, although that figure was from at least a year ago.

Have to assume that was pre-EDR, because that would put the current number at 320,000, which I'm sure can't be right - unless the last double SC promo was particularly wider than we've been led to believe. :)

That would be around 300,000 WPs (7,500,000 x 0.04). Are there that many WPs? :?: Assuming they did 4 F lounge visits per year, that would be 1,200,000 visits per year or ~3,300 F lounge visits per day or assuming a 15 hours day, ~220 WPs entering the F lounge per hour.

I suspect you are right and the % figure would have dropped a bit as the influx of new EDR members came on board (so to speak).

QF did say that there are a lot of people that would qualify for P1 so I think there must be heaps around. Would say just looking around in the office here we have quite a few.

Can't wait for them to announce WP1 privileges.... can't be much longer now surely.... can it?

One would think the date of the AFF lunch with the powers that be, may give some hints as to when we may hear something

That number sounds a lot higher than anyone would expect.

I believe Platinums numbered around 60,000 (or ~1%) when there were 6 million QFFers and I don't think that number would have grown significantly since Everyday Rewards was introduced.

Agreed, it not a bit less...

No where near as high as you think.

QF actually publish the number of WP's and CL - in the Advertising stats for AIR..

15,000 CL members and 25,000 WP's

Trust me, if it was more than that, they'd be advertising it!!

Google it, you should be able to find it easy enough... On the QMedia website
