How to find Aeroplan flights

Thought I might put it here but I’m currently booking some Aeroplan flights and have several options to get from CAI to the US including MS, LX and LH via various routes. The MS flights are pretty poorly timed and most reviews are pretty horrible so I’ll probably give that a miss which leaves CAI to either ZRH/FRA/MUC in a 737 and then stopover if I want before taking LH A380 from MUC, LH 747 from FRA or LX A330 from ZRH. LX has heaps of availability to various US/Canadian cities but having not flown either LX or LH long haul for many years im wondering if anyone has recent experience in J with either. All 3 products look dated but at least with LX i can choose a J solo seat. Just trying to suss out which one has the better service and comfort.
Failing that for spme extra points i could also choose various AC options through European ports

Pity that ITA is taking a while to join Star Alliance, they have 1-1 lie flat in J serving CAI on their 321n. Looks like the LX 220 1-2 seating has the same legroom as Y unless you're in row 1 or exit. Last time out of CAI I flew OS in J at some ungodly hour but it wasn't too bad. Given choice between narrow-bodies, 220 every time for those nice windows.

Until LH sorts out the Allegris seats on more routes LX for me. Food and seats are better, albeit planes are older and service can be slower. Zurich also much better for transit.

I have flown LH, LX and MS business in the last 6 months. MS is fine for short haul… a few hours or so. Service is well intentioned, food was ok. There were two or three movies… anything but mainstream so likely one you’ve never heard of and can watch

LX and LH were both good I thought. Old configurations for business class, but honestly, I didn’t have a problem with it. The ‘footsie’ seats in LH weren’t an issue, and I’m not hung up on total privacy. LX similarly had long beds with wide footwells. Not sure the same applies with the throne seats (lots of space but I hear the footwells can be slightly narrower?)

Food and beverage was great on both LH and LX.

I would have no hesitation flying MS out of Cairo… not least because they use Terminal 3 which is far more quiet than T2 (see other thread here on AFF about egypt). Their business class is 2+2 with a very generous 48-49 inch seat pitch and equally good recline. From there I’d probably connect with LH’s 748 if you can. Superb aircraft.
