I'd sell JQ and maintain a small stake in it. I'd then start rapidly refurbishing the A330 fleet and start code-shares with CX and Dragonair to provide connections into China. I'd then make the necessary adjustments to make the HKG run daily A388 with it continuing on to PEK (would that be the only A388 on the route?). Lease a 777 from EK to operate SYD-DFW-SYD routes until 789 arrives. Firm up those options and start retiring the 744s at a rapid rate. By 2016, I'd have QF operating daily service from SYD, MEL, BNE, PER to HKG to connect to China, A388s to DXB from SYD, MEL and to LAX. 789 to DFW. Transfer a couple remaining 744s to Jetconnect and operate SCL through them. Operate JNB with remaining 744
