HSBC Platinum Qantas Credit Card Changes: Ouchy

It dropped a little but nothing significant and it was back up to the same level a few months later. And of course, I closed them off as quick as possible once the points/cashback etc. were paid out.
Nice work, I'll try this next month

I now apply for multiple cards at the exact same time (within 1 - 2 hrs or as quick as possible). I applied for 5 x cards + 1 personal loan earlier this year and was approved for all.

I'll be doing the same again for as many as possible that I am "due" to "refresh". The credit checks don't appear to hit the credit file instantly and appear to take hours or a day or so, so this worked for me twice so far.
How long do you wait before each application period do you do that? And which banks have approved these applications?
TIA

does anybody know how

"Earn 1.5 Qantas Points for every $1 spent on eligible purchases up to $120,000 during the first 12 months of your account. Earn 1 Qantas Point for every $1 spent on eligible purchases up to $120,000 in subsequent years1"

works for people transferred to the old hsbc card?

I think it doesnt apply, well it appears it didnt for me for december,

You need to follow the 1 from the end of that statement. One thing you'll see is

Existing HSBC customers transferring from another HSBC credit card or customers who have held a HSBC Qantas Points earning credit card within the previous 12 months from the application date are ineligible for this offer.

I would assume that if im getting the new product AF then I would get the benefits too..........

My annual fee is due in a few weeks

Attempted to cancel the card today. Got told i had to pay it out and then cancel. Not sure if this is the procedure, but ill do it.
