Still have to wait a couple of days before payment until I'm back home to make sure no work trips scheduled on those dates but will definitely know before the weekend.

Not far at all. It would be a fair walk though and not recommended in the dark country roads. We will organize a maxi-taxi /shuttle of sorts once the numbers are up.
I'll be staying at Chateau Elan so also needing transport to and from dinner.

Yep.. we are flying in about midday/ 1pm... but we are catching up with friends in Newcastle before driving to the Hunter. I think your flight gets in later so we can give you a lift if you like
